Nope, not here. No PR girl (shes out with alopecia), no fancy adjectives, no gaudy soft focus. Just kickass pictures... but for the sake of commerce here's my take: A camera has the ability to create, but it truly shines when it catches those fleeting and magic moments in life that pass so quickly. It's what draws me to attach a big awkward gadget to the front of my face in sweaty jungles and ballrooms for days... to capture those images. I want them to take you back to the place. I want you to feel that sun on your skin and hear your friends' laughter. And my hope is that they get curled corners and faded from hundreds of happy thumbprints. And they declare their value by the number of smiles they can illicit for decades.
Our crazy, little, swirling gem in the universe is inspiring everywhere you look. It's strange, hysterical, and certainly beautiful. I can't get enough, and since memory serves I've been striving to see the substance that surrounds us every second. Everyone does this their own way. For me, it's capturing allusive imagery (and eating nutella).
